Kathy from the Silvis Hy-Vee 130% nailed my flowers for my June 20, 2009 wedding. I came to Kathy with a small budget and a bunch of random ideas. She managed to pick out the re-occuring theme from all of my examples and made it work - perfectly! She stayed exactly within my budget and created bouquets and centerpieces that were beyond what I could possibly imagine! She even decorated my cake when my cake lady didn't fully understand my "vision". It looked phenominal! Oh and did I mention she drove to Indiana to pick up flowers for my wedding?! I'm going to work with Rick Jennisch to get some of our wedding photos posted on this page because you all need to see Kathy's fabulous work! Thank you, Kathy for everything. It was a pleasure working with you!

Let me just say, Kathy is amazing!  She did the flowers for my October 18th wedding and everything was beautiful.  I hadn't expected Kathy to be at the church when I got there, but it was a relief to see her.  She even helped my girls tie their sashes and helped my personal attendant lace up my dress.  Then she helped all the guys get their boutineers on.  What a wonderful lady!  The flowers looked amazing.  Also, I thought the prices were fairly reasonable.  I had talked to another florist before, and with my budget they had recommended silk flowers.  I talked with Kathy and she said not a problem, she could do it all with real flowers.  I did get silk flowers for my flower girls kissing ball.  That way she could keep it for later.

Hy-Vee Silvis did our catering for our 6.21.08 wedding reception and it was great!!  we had no problems with them and everyone was so nice and cleaned up.  The food was good, and their prices are even better-it's definetely the way to go.

Using Hy-Vee for our caterer was such a wonderful decision. The food was perfect and there was tons of it. There were many people that asked where the food came from. We served a buffet with chicken and roast beef in au jus and the meat was moist and all the sides (6) were delicious. And, it was truly a steal. The staff was pleasant and efficient. We also had a cocoa station with hot cocoa, cider and coffee with some “toppings”. They provided this and snacks of veggies and cheese and crackers before the reception. No one went hungry.

Another satisfied Kathy bride! The flowers were better than I imagined. Kathy listened to what I wanted and delivered, at the best prices I found. She really knows her stuff and has great suggestions. You can't go wrong with her!

Kathy was amazing to work with.  She listened to wat it was that I wanted and created a master piece.  I had a few special requests and she met everyone of them.  I couldn't have been happier!

I can not say enough of what you have done for our wedding day! It was beatiful and no words can explain you work! I knew what I wanted and you made it come true! Kathy was awesome and new the "vision" that I was going for.  The flowers were beautiful and everything that I could of wanted. She did an excellent job an so easy to work with.  You will not stress or worry with her.  Thanks a bunch and I would recommend to anyone.  Great price and excellent service.

Kathy did an AMAZING JOB on our flowers and worked well within our budget. Many guests commented on our flowers and they were breathtaking! I had talked to many florists before her and she by far the most helpful and went out of her way well beyond our expectations. I did do much research with all of our vendors, and brides IT PAYS OFF! I am getting my flowers perserved by JJ's Keepsake gardens because they were so lovely! Thanks Kathy! Hope you read this!

Kathy did a wonderful job talking us through and showing us pictures so we could make our decision about the flowers.  Our flowers turned out so beautiful--it was amazing.  She also went to our reception site and put a fresh flower topper on our cake and flower petals on all the tables.  We had some trouble getting in touch with her at times because she is so busy, but it was worth it.  The price was very reasonable and I have to say that the bouquets were probably the most beautiful I've seen.

All i can say is THANK YOU Kathy!  My flowers where way beyond amazing!  Flowers was something very important to me for my wedding.. and she made it as awesome and then some as i wanted it to be.  I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone.

I visited Silvis Hy-Vee on the recommendation of another bride. I was not let down! Kathy was willing to discuss flower changes right down to the week before when I was having a crazy moment! They looked absolutely beautiful! I went with some ideas and she offered others that combined to make everything look just perfect. Let me be the one to recomend them to you!

Luke did such an excellent job with the food.  We did run out of chicken by the time the last few tables went through the line--but everything else was great and definitely AFFORDABLE!

Kathy was wonderful!  I'm not too smart on flowers, so she gave me great ideas and asked all of the right questions.  Our flowers looked fabulous.  We got a lot of comments on them, and the flowers on the cake just made it look awesome!  We were even able to use tulips, which other florists hadn't wanted to do.  We had red tulips and yellow daisies, and it looked great.  Thanks Kathy!

my sister used hy vee they are great with budgets and cathy used to manage knees.  she is awsome and has a lot of expierence.  (just give her ideas of what you like and she will try  to accomadate you!
