Tim was a great addition to our daughter's wedding! He really got the crowd involved all evening, and everyone had a great time. The "love story" he did was terrific! Tim was very easy to work with, very professional and responsive. He always answered emails quickly and met with us several times. I highly recommend him for your wedding! You won't be disappointed!

We couldn't had been happier with Tim!! He is very professional! I wanted a little more for my grand enterance and he completed it!! He all the calling, which was great because that was one less thing I had to worry about!! All our guests had the greatest time!! Tim did an amazing job at our reception!! He absolutely made our reception wonderful and made our day even more perfect! He is a great guy to work with and very quick and responsive to questions and e-mails. One of the most memorable things he did was put together a wonderful love story for us that he read to everyone at the beginning of the reception which set the mood for the evening and gave everyone a better idea about us as a couple and how we fell in love. We received so many compliments from our guests about Tim and several people had asked my parents who he was so I hope that they decide to use them for their wedding as well. I would highly recommend him...you won't be disappointed!! Thank you Tim!!

We booked Tim from the glowing recommendations he received on this site. We couldn't have been happier. He completely puts you at ease and takes his role in your wedding very seriously. He is a consumate professional with much experience. In the way that he gracefully directed the evening--that was perfectly obvious. Not only were my husband and I thrilled with his services, but our guests continue to rave about him. He has the best equipment, a competetive price, necessary experience, and efficient planning devices. You cannot go wrong with Tim. He will be the vendor you can be most confident in! Reading the comments below, what can I add? Tim was GREAT! He worked diligently with all our other vendors, making sure the photographer was in the right place at the right time, releasing tables for the meal, he was not just a FABULOUS DJ, but as an MC he kept my daughters reception moving, happy, organized - HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Thanks Tim, you're the best!

Tim is fabulous! We had so many comments from guests on how much fun the dancing part of the evening was. From the bride and groom dance to the end of the reception, the dance floor was consistently packed with people. Tim's online planning tool is great and allowed my husband and I to pick the songs we wanted him to play. Tim even drove 40 minutes to meet with us prior to the wedding so we could go over last minute details, and listened to what we wanted and also had some great suggestions for us. He was awesome, very professional, kept the night moving, and the very best in the Quad Cities area. Highly recommended!!

Tim was great to work with, asked all the questions needed to steer the reception in the right direction and according to the right timeline. We were able to just turn things over to him and he moved things along, even dismissing tables to the buffet line. He played great music, had a lot of people dancing, and responded quickly to requests. He was professional and relaxed, and sent us a CD of candid photos he took to tide us over until we got the official ones from Rick.

Tim is the best! He is so professional and truly cares about the success of your event. He had the dance floor rockin' all night long and our banquet hall pretty much had to shut us down because everyone was having so much fun! Tim, Thank you for all of your guidance along the way. Tim was perfect! The online planning tools were incredibly convenient, he was very professional throughout the planning process, and he orchestrated my reception nearly flawlessly. He's well worth the cost, and then some. I highly recommend him!

Thanks to Tim our reception was a blast. He was in charge of the evening (coordinating between the photographer and banquet manager), but never made us feel that he was being the center of attention.
We really appreciated the on line planning tool. He played all the songs that we asked, including a cult favorite from our college days.

I can't say enough good things about Tim!! He was so easy to work with and he kept the party going all evening. He is great with coordinating between all of the vendors and really took the stress off of everyone. I loved the online tools and when we got back from our honeymoon, there was a cd waiting for us of pictures that Tim had taken during our reception. I would recommend him to anyone for any event!! He's great!

Tim was awesome! I would recommend Black Tie to anyone! I never dance at weddings but I was dancing all night long! All my family and friends had so much fun! Tim planned the whole reception for me and kept things going, I didn't have to worry about anything! He worked with all the vendors as well and made sure they were doing what they were supposed to be doing. Tim even sent me some pictures! His online planning tool was great! I loved that I could pick and chose what songs I wanted played and what I didn't want played. I must say that I had more fun than I've ever had. All my family and friends have told me how much they loved him. They said they have never seen so much action on the dance floor and for so long! Don't hesitate, call Tim now before someone else takes him!

I would highly recommend Blacktie to anyone!! Tim is an awesome DJ. He gets the guests involved. When he played the Electric slide, he threw out neon necklaces to the crowd. I would tell the whole world to use Blacktie for any event (if I could). Tim's experience really shows. He's professional, but fun at the same time. He made the evening run smooth...Again, I STRONGLY recommend Blacktie Entertainment to anyone looking for a DJ.

Tim rocked! The online planning tool was great. I told Tim that we loved the 80's and we rocked out to that all night long. He even had the old folks on the dance floor till the last song! I have had guests to this day still commenting on our DJ. Tim is awesome, he does a great job and he's very enthusiastic! I would highly recommend him!

I can't say enough good things about Tim, the dj. He's extremely professional and did everything we asked. Our dance floor was full all night and we received several compliments on him. I highly recommend his service, he's very reliable and extremely courteous, not to mention his online planning tool is fantastic!

The online planning tool is great, and this was the main reason that my hsuband and I switched from SAS Entertainment to Black Tie. Tim, the DJ, did a great job at our reception. He was very professional, upbeat, but not at all obtrusive. We received a lot of compliments on our DJ, and I have heard nothing but good about him from other QC brides.

They have an online planning tool which makes everything so much easier! You can work on your playlist, save it, and return later to finish it. This is so much better than tying to sit down and do it all at once!
